Colbert just another intelligence failure for Bush crew

While much of mainstream media ignored Stephen Colbert’s “ballselicious” speech at the white house correspondents dinner (most notably the New York Times) a small segment of the reality based media wondered “What did they think a TV satirist would do?

Colbert’s invitation to speak at the dinner is just another example of a massive intelligence failure (in both applicable meanings of the word intelligence) by the Bush crew, the same crew that ignored credible intelligence about wmd, apparently believing we would be welcomed in Iraq as liberators.
