Did CNN air a fake war video?

On November 1, 2006 the 12-1 EST segment of CNN (CNN-International) aired video as part of a story about dangerous US night-time missions in Iraq.  The video was in the grainy greenish format associated with night-vision technology.

I wasn't paying much attention at the time, but when I glanced at the TV near the end of the clip I noticed that the soldiers and equipment all had very sharply defined shadows, as if the video clip had been shot in full sunshine and then filtered to look like night vision video. In other words, it seemed to be a staged PR event, not a real patrol as was portrayed by CNN.

The video was ending when I noticed that it seemed to be fake, so I wasn't able to record it.  I'm hoping someone who does have access to a copy of that video will look at it and perhaps help get it up on the web to help expose the Bush propaganda network.
