Bush flipping off America while hijacking

It's the Cheap Labor, Stupid!
Bush’s claim that Americans are
unwilling to do jobs immigrants do is just another lie
designed to mislead Americans about his real concern,
which is maintaining a supply of cheap (virtually slave)
labor for corporations and the wealthy.
When I imagine
talking to my brother, an airline pilot and Bush
supporter who seems otherwise rational, I imagine asking
him if he would fly airplanes for 3 dollars an hour, no
benefits (and no getting paid for lounging about in the
airport before a flight - I’m talking about a time clock
in the cockpit).
It's not that Americans won't do jobs immigrants will
do, it's that American won't do them for slave wages - I
suspect many would be
glad to take jobs currently foisted on immigrants if those jobs actually paid a living wage.Stray Thoughts
